Barbours Cut Intermodal Services depot sits on a prime 12 acre tract located a quarter of a mile from the Port of Houston's Barbours Cut Terminal Facility.

BCIS offers the following services:

• Complete intermodal equipment and depot services
• Direct service of empty containers to/from vessel
• Container and chassis repair
• Container and chassis storage
• Steam cleaning for food grade / USDA bookings
• Refrigerated container repairs
• Monitoring with reefer plugs on site
• Chassis pool rental
• Web access to customer equipment and booking releases

Technology
Recently, BCIS invested heavily into a full service information system. This system includes:

• Depot Management System
• DMS Hand helds (providing both Gate and M&R functionality)
• Job Scheduling (automated communications tool)
• Digital Intermodal -- A web based interface allowing customer access to equipment data
